This past week the McLaughlin Group on PBS discussed the conflict between Georgia and Russia. Most telling was how each of the commentators clearly noted the situation was started by Georgia, not Russia. Mainstream media broadcasts have been regularly stating just the opposite. The one commentator not following this thinking was Monica Crowley, of who Don Imus once said, "do you have an I.V. drip steadily pumping that neocon Kool-Aid into you? You sound like a crazy person."
Something that I find interesting is how the main stream media is always saying that Russia has attacked Georgia. When you look a little deeper into what is really going on there you'll find that Georgia is the one who attacked first. Here's just one of many articles.
