The Daily Caller's lead story today is a disturbing article about how NOW (The National Organization of Women) and Media Matters are attempting to censor and silence radio show host Rush Limbaugh. The plan (or plot) is to pressure (i.e. harass and bully) local advertisers to pull their advertising from his show. A "National Day of Action" is planned for May 18 to protest stations carrying Rush's show:

Due to concern over riots, Chicago condo residents are being asked to leave or remain locked in their homes during the NATO conference at the end of May.
Residents won't be able to move out during that time: "There will be absolutely no deliveries or moves permitted between Friday, May 18 and Monday, May 21."

- A Michigan pig farmer was forced to shoot his own pigs or risk being arrested as a felon under new "Invasive Species Order."
- A Michigan family is being threatened with criminal prosecution if they do not force their child to undergo chemotherapy, even though the child shows no current signs of cancer.
Way to go, Michigan. As if people weren't already fleeing the state in droves for warmer climes in the South.

Orrin Hatch Hates Libertarians. Well, at least Tea Party "Libertarians." Probably because they are trying to kick him out of office:
"These people are not conservatives. They're not Republicans," Hatch angrily responds. "They're radical libertarians and I'm doggone offended by it."
For as much as the media tries to downplay the impact of the Tea Party, they seem to be doing a good job mustering up some movement in Utah:

Before Andrew Breitbart died, he predicted that the media would instigate "race wars" to try to guilt people into voting for Obama.
Whether that's true or not, gun rights activists are concerned that the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case will be used to shut down Second Amendment rights.
